Both performance and longevity of waterjet nozzles are directly related to alignment of the jet stream through all components in the user’s cutting head. Any misalignment of the jet stream or the abrasive focusing tube causes early wear in the cutting system. DTI has designed and developed the ultimate solution to this problem. P. A. C. T. is the revolutionary process that consists of a replaceable diamond orifice cartridge that is precision aligned in reference to the bore of the focusing tube. This technology results in a true “aligned” cutting system that minimizes wear and directs maximum force of the jet stream to the user’s material. The replaceable cartridge allows the user to stock various sizes and quantities resulting in cost savings because the body (cartridge holder) does not have to be replaced with every orifice change.
